Christian Counseling for Individuals
Our individual counseling provides an opportunity to work through your thoughts and feelings about the life stressors you are facing with a professional Christian counselor.
During each individual counseling sessions you will spend about an hour one-on-one with a caring counselor who will learn about you and your life. The goal of this counseling is that you gain new perspectives and tools to use in life.
Change happens in your life - when it happens in you first.
Areas for Individual Counseling
Some areas focus might be anxiety, depression, self esteem, behavioral issues, educational concerns, life transitions, family issues, bereavement & grief, or stress.
Our Approach in Individual Counseling
To begin, your counselor will spend time visiting with you to thoroughly understand the situation you are facing. Each counselor may approach this differently - and may include discussing your family of origin, core beliefs, and your spiritual life. It is common for individuals to be unaware of the root of the problem because of being focused on the symptoms.
Your counselor will approach your concerns and situation in a way that is non-judgmental, safe and solution focused. Their goal is to focus on how to make your life more meaningful and enjoyable.
Above all, God is at the center of our counseling sessions.
