We are all a work in progress, and I am passionate about accessing and supporting ways to help kids reach their fullest potential. I believe we are all unique, individual creations with bodies, personalities, and environments that help us live meaningful lives. My goal as an occupational therapist is to approach the challenges of daily living skill participation with a holistic, dynamic, thoughtful, and goal-oriented treatment plan. By partnering with kids, families, and caregivers, I work to address the underlying factors that impact a child's routine participation and positively influence the individual and family system quality of life. I have a special interest in working with children who have emotional or behavioral challenges, helping identify and address ways daily routines are impacted by these challenges.

Areas of Interest: Emotional regulation, social skills, feeding and mealtime participation, executive functioning, community participation, personal hygiene, and self-care skills, challenging and oppositional behavior management, sensory processing, and reflex integration. Works with children and young adults, age birth to 18 (older patients welcome if appropriate to pediatric treatment approaches).

Education & Experience: Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, University of South Dakota; Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature, University of Nebraska - Lincoln; MNRI reflex integration trained; CPI Crisis Prevention trained; behavior and sensory feeding skills trained; Handwriting Without Tears trained. Licensed for practice in ND and MN.
