I’ve had the pleasure of working with children, families, and individuals for the past 10+ years. During this time, I’ve used my clinical skills as a counselor in a community mental health agency, as a behavior interventionist in schools, and as an elementary school teacher. I enjoy using child-centered play therapy and play-based activities when working with children. These age-specific interventions help to bring healing and reveal pathways for restoring healthy family systems. When working with teens and adults, I pull strongly from cognitive behavior therapy strategies and prioritize the therapeutic relationship. The Bible teaches that God is relational, and His work is that of restoring relationships through the sacrifice of His Son. I am privileged to witness the gospel play out in relationships, ultimately pointing to the One who heals and loves best.

Areas of Interest: trauma, attachment, adjustment, parenting, family systems, behavioral issues, mood disorders. Works with children and families, ages 2-7.

Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science - University of Florida. Master of Science in Counselor Education - University of South Florida. Certificate in Play Therapy - University of South Florida.  Experience with in home and outpatient counseling. Additional training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Certified Registered Play Therapist.
