Counselors are available to assist in dealing with many emotional and spiritual concerns, including:

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

Persons struggling with issues such as depression, anxiety, lack of self-esteem, abuse, grief, loss, and other personal and

emotional concerns can be offered assistance.

PREMARITAL PREPARATION

Counselors help each couple evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of their relationship and works with them to develop a healthy relationship.

MARITAL COUNSELING

We have counselors available to provide help for couples who desire to achieve and maintain a healthy marital relationship.

FAMILY COUNSELING

We recognize that the actions and attitudes of each family member affect all family members. With this in mind, we attempt to include

as many members of the family in counseling as is appropriate.

STAGE OF LIFE ISSUES

Throughout the life of each person there are changes which can cause stress. We attempt to help individuals and families cope in a healthy

way with employment problems, retirement, aging of parents, death of a loved one, etc. Group counseling may be offered upon request at an adjusted fee.

SPIRITUAL DIRECTION

Counselors trained in spiritual direction are available. Spiritual Direction encourages a person of faith to explore a closer relationship with God. Spiritual Direction offers discernment of God's presence. Services available include individual sessions and an Ignation Retreat - a 30 week heart journey with God.

CONSULTING SERVICES

Our counselors are available for consultation services to help pastors and church leaders deal with difficult counseling situations as well as with

interpersonal tensions, which may develop within the church body and/or church staff.

EDUCATIONAL SERVICES

We offer outreach and educational services to churches and other Christian organizations through, workshops, seminars, and courses to improve

ministry with the church body. These seminars include Christian marriage and family enrichments, training of lay assistants to support and encourage people who are hurting, and training for pastors and professional counselors to improve their counseling skills. These seminars may also be tailored to meet specific needs that arise within the Christian community.

FEES

The fee for counseling is charged per session of approximately one hour. Some congregations may offer financial help to members who cannot afford the full fee. In some situations, we may be able to access your health insurance or EAP to cover the fee. There is also a client assistance fund available for those in financial need.
