My early work experience as a pediatric intensive care nurse created a heart to work with people that face suffering. As a Christian counselor I believe individuals can determine how their faith is used in counseling. The commitment to counseling is an investment in yourself and your personal relationships.
I use Christ-centered therapy with individuals, families, adolescents, and children. I have a family systems approach and use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Formational Counseling. As a trained Spiritual Director I will search with each client where God is in their situation. Discernment for making life decisions can be a large part of the spiritual direction process.
Areas of Interest: Depression, anxiety, stress, abuse, anger, parenting, divorce, blended families • Works with children (5 years and older), adolescents, adults, families.
