It has been said, "You can choose your friends, but you can’t choose your family." Families come in many shapes and sizes and function on a wide continuum from healthy to unhealthy. No matter what your background, one thing is certain: for better or worse your family experiences have influenced the adult you are.

  Identifying rules you live by
  Destructive thinking patterns
  Understanding shame and its influence on self-image
  Recognizing God’s truth vs. Satan’s lies
  Forgiving others and ourselves
  Expressing desires and preferences
